About
I'm an Associate Lecturer with the Open University in the North of England and Subject Area Leader in Literature at the North East Centre for Lifelong Learning in Newcastle upon Tyne. My PhD was a feminist re-reading of cyberpunk fiction and my current research is on aspects of embodiment in science fiction and fantasy narratives, with a focus on the “cult” action heroine in television.
